How to Join

Junior (U/16) pool swimmers

Levels here are from Beginner to National competitive level.

Assessments are carried out for children to ensure they are placed into the correct group for their ability.

To book an assessment for your child please contact

Next Assessment date     Friday 3rd September.

If your child is already a competitive swimmer then we will arrange for them to swim in one of the squad training sessions as their assessment.

Adult swimming (Masters)

These are generally competent swimmers who will probably have swum at club level in their younger days and would like to carry on in a club environment but at a less strenuous pace.

ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION

DUE FROM THE 1st FRIDAY IN APRIL 2010

 

SUBSCRIPTION COVERING THE PERIOD FROM APRIL 2010 TO MARCH 2011 HAS BEEN AGREED BY THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE AND IS AS FOLLOWS -:

  • UNDER 7 YEARS               £38.00

  • JUNIOR                                £41.00

  • SENIOR (POOL)                 £46.00

  • SENIOR (ARCH & POOL) £100.00

These fees are due on the 1st April 2010 and should be paid as soon after that date as possible

CODE OF CONDUCT FOR SWIMMERS 

  • Arrive for training and matches in good time to prepare thoroughly

  • Turn up with the appropriate kit for the activity

  • Always warm up and cool down properly

  • Play for fun and enjoyment - not just to please your parents and/or coach

  • Learn and play by the rules

  • Do not argue with the coach and/or officials - use your energies for better play

  • Recognise and applaud good play

  • Be a good sport -- win with modesty, lose with dignity

  • Respect other people - treat them in a way you wish to be treated

  • Co-operate with your coach, team-mates and opponents

  • Think about improving your skills after training and competition

  • Inform the coach of any medical conditions

  • Inform the coach of an injury as soon as possible

  • Inform the coach if you need to leave the site early

  • Thank Officials and Opponents after competition
