Do you enjoy swimming & competing?

If yes contact us & arrange a time for an assessment or talk to our head coach.

Our main club session is a Friday evening at the Prince Regent swimming complex in North Road. We also have by invitation ten other sessions each week in Brighton.

The club competes in two leagues, runs two of its own major open meet competitions, holds annual club championships & competes from County up to National level.

Open Meets.
To enter an Open Meet your child must be ASA registered. The age grouping of the meet depends on the individual club holding the meet. There will also be consideration / qualifying times to allow the correct level of swimmers to enter.
They provide the opportunity for swimmers to gain experience in racing all the strokes, distances, racing at different times of the day, various pool lengths.
The Head Coach plans various Open Meets into the season's Fixture List to try and suit the swimmers needs for that particular part of the yearly training programme.

Please ask your coach for advice on which meets you should enter.
Whatever event you enter please remember you are still representing the Club and must abide by their rules and conditions.

Club Gala's & League Meets
You are selected by the Head coach from your personal best times for Sussex League, National Arena League, Interclub Galas, Regional & County Relays

County, District & National Events
You have to be a ASA registered swimmer and achieve the Qualifying Times (see notice board) and then ask head coach for entry form. See links to Sussex County  South East Region  ASA

ASA Registration
The reason for this being, that our club, along with all other swimming clubs, is affiliated to the Amateur Swimming
Association (ASA).
This enables the Club to operate and compete at different levels from Interclub Galas, County events, District events, on to National and International levels.
To do this, the ASA make a capita charge on all members of all clubs.
